stoplight ABOUT THE PROJECT

Details: 

  • This project will widen Missouri Route 291 from north Overton St. to just north of NE 104th Street.
  • This project will also upgrade signals at Flintlock intersection.
  • The purpose of this project is to add more capacity along MO 291 for increased traffic volumes, and to increase safety at the Flintlock intersection.
  • This project is in the conceptual stage right now and is expected to have a letting date of April 2028 with construction starting Summer 2028. 
  • MO 291 will be closed to through traffic throughout construction from Flintlock Rd. to 104th St.
