Why was this work necessary?
Resurfacing of Route 124 and Route B is necessary to keep the pavement in good condition. The improved pavement will provide a smoother, safer surface with better traction for motorists. The sidewalk improvements are needed to bring the sidewalks and intersection along Route 124 and Route B into compliance with the federal Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990. These sidewalk improvements will provide safer access for all pedestrians.

Road Resurfacing to Begin on Multiple Boone County Routes
