Project Information
- Replace the Business Route 65 bridge over the MNA railroad between Esplanade Road and Whitehall Street in Hollister
- The new bridge structure will be 6 feet 7 inches wider and 37 feet longer than the old bridge
- Includes a pedestrian walkway on the north side of the bridge
Traffic Impacts:
- Business Route 65 CLOSED over the MNA railroad for up to 2 weeks during construction
- Signed detour: U.S. Route 65, Missouri Route 76
- Drivers will encounter flaggers on Old Mill Road under the bridge
- Intersection of Esplanade Drive and Business 65 CLOSED for up to 4 months during construction

Will Business Route 65 (Main Street/Veterans Boulevard) be open during construction?
Business Route 65 (Main Street/Veterans Boulevard) will be CLOSED over the MNA railroad for up to 2 weeks during construction to make the roadway connections to the new bridge. Detours for the project include U.S. Route 65 and Missouri Route 76.
Will Old Mill Road be open underneath the bridge during construction?
Old Mill Road will remain open throughout construction; however, drivers will encounter flaggers directing traffic through the work zone.
Will the intersection of Eplanade Drive and Business 65 be closed?
The intersection of Eplanade Drive and Business 65 will be closed for up to 4 months for realignment of the intersection and to allow the contractor space to construct the new bridge.
The last day to leave comments on this project is November 5.
