Online Comment Period for I-29/I-35 Corridor Upgrades in Clay County, NOW - April 1

CLAY COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT KC) is seeking public comment input regarding the Interstate 29 and Interstate 35 Corridor Upgrades in Clay County. The comment period opened at 4 pm on Wednesday, March 18. The public is invited to leave questions and comments on the project webpage.  A public meeting on the project was held on Wednesday, March 18th at the Northland Neighborhoods Inc.

The corridor upgrades project will replace the I-29 southbound to I-35 northbound flyover bridge and the I-35/29 bridges over Parvin Road. In addition, MoDOT is completing a conceptual study to look at future alternatives to improve the I-29/35 interchange in Clay County. Construction will approximately take place in 2028 through approximately late 2029, early 2030.
