ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – The Middle Fork Grand River Bridge on U.S. Route 169 in Worth County is now scheduled to be completed by the end of January 2026. The bridge was originally scheduled to be completed by December 2025 but has been delayed due to weather.
Traffic Impacts: Route 169 will remain closed at the Middle Fork Grand River Bridge. A signed detour is in place guiding motorists from Route 169 to Missouri Route 46 to Worth County Route C to Worth County Route M to Route 169.

The Missouri Department of Transportation contracted Capital Paving & Construction, LLC to replace the decks of the Middle Fork Grand River Bridge and the East Fork Grand River Bridge in Worth County and the Zounds Creek Bridge in Gentry County.
