MoDOT to switch westbound traffic back to the westbound Interstate 64 Boone Bridge Saturday, Nov. 8

ST. CHARLES COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will return traffic back to the westbound Interstate 64 Boone Bridge over the Missouri River starting at 7 p.m., Saturday, November 8. All work is weather permitting.

Crews will be closing the far-right lane of westbound I-64 at Spirit of St. Louis Boulevard overnight to restripe lanes on the westbound bridge. By Sunday morning, November 9, all westbound lanes will be back in their original configuration, except for the far-left westbound lane which will be closed for one week as crews work on the median barrier wall.

Monday, November 17, crews will begin removing temporary barrier wall on the eastbound lanes nightly from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. The eastbound bridge traffic will also be shifted back to its original configuration. This transition is expected to be completed by 5 a.m. Tuesday, November 25.
