JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Transportation is seeking community input on six upcoming bridge projects in Washington County:
- Route A bridge replacement over Indian Creek.
- Missouri Route 8 bridge rehabilitations over:
- Allen Creek.
- Mid Fork Fourche a Renault.
- North Fork Fourche a Renault.
- Missouri Route 185 bridge rehabilitation over Swan Branch.
- Route W bridge rehabilitation over Ashley Branch.
As part of the design process, MoDOT is seeking community input and has multiple ways by which interested parties can provide feedback during an open comment period, Oct. 28 – Nov.18, 2025. By commenting, questioning, and providing community insight, the public’s input is essential in helping to guide the design and construction process.
- In person – An open-house style public meeting is being held Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at Washington County Courthouse, upstairs courtroom, 102 N. Missouri Street in Potosi. The project team will be on hand to answer questions, provide information, and receive input about the project. There will be no formal presentation, so attendees may come and go as they please at any time during the advertised hours.
- By email – Send comments no later than Nov. 18, 2025, to CDCR@modot.mo.gov with the subject line: Washington County Bridge Bundle 2026.
- By traditional mail – Comments may be mailed to Missouri Department of Transportation, 1511 Missouri Boulevard, Jefferson City, MO 65109. Please reference: Washington County Bridge Bundle 2026.
