Comment period open for six Washington County bridges

Provide feedback Oct. 28 - Nov. 18 in person, online, email, or traditional mail

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Transportation is seeking community input on six upcoming bridge projects in Washington County:

  • Route A bridge replacement over Indian Creek.
  • Missouri Route 8 bridge rehabilitations over:
    • Allen Creek.
    • Mid Fork Fourche a Renault.
    • North Fork Fourche a Renault.
  • Missouri Route 185 bridge rehabilitation over Swan Branch.
  • Route W bridge rehabilitation over Ashley Branch.

As part of the design process, MoDOT is seeking community input and has multiple ways by which interested parties can provide feedback during an open comment period, Oct. 28 – Nov.18, 2025. By commenting, questioning, and providing community insight, the public’s input is essential in helping to guide the design and construction process.

MoDOT asks all motorists to work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, obeying all traffic signs, and slowing down and moving over in work zones. Motorists are advised to use extra caution through work zones, obey all traffic signs, and avoid any distractions.
