ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – The Middle Fork Grand River Bridge on U.S. Route 169 in Worth County is scheduled to close Monday, Aug. 25, for a bridge deck replacement project.
The Missouri Department of Transportation contracted Capital Paving & Construction, LLC to replace the decks of the Middle Fork Grand River Bridge and the East Fork Grand River Bridge in Worth County and the Zounds Creek Bridge in Gentry County.
Traffic Impacts: During construction, Route 169 will be closed at the Middle Fork Grand River Bridge. A signed detour will be in place guiding motorists from Route 169 to Missouri Route 46 to Worth County Route C to Worth County Route M to Route 169. The Middle Fork Grand River Bridge is expected to reopen by in October 2025.
