CLAY COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting a full closure and ramp closures on northbound and southbound I-435 at the 169-interchange for bridge rehabilitation operations on the northbound 169 bridge.
Beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 8 until 5:00 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 11
- NB and SB I-435 will be CLOSED at S. 169
- SB U.S. 169 ramp to SB I-435 will be CLOSED
- NB I-435 ramp to SB U.S. 169 will be CLOSED
- NB U.S. 169 to NB I-435 will be CLOSED
- SB I-435 ramp to NB U.S. 169 will be CLOSED
A detour will be in place during this time utilizing Missouri Route 152. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
