Kansas City area maintenance work for June 2-6

LEE’S SUMMIT, MO – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from June 2-6. No maintenance work is scheduled for the Memorial Day holiday on May 26. All work is weather permitting.

CLAY COUNTY

Interstate 29 southbound ramp from Bedford Ave.: ramp closures from Tue., June 3 until Thu., June 5, from approximately 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for ditch work.

JACKSON COUNTY

U.S. Highway 71 northbound ramp to 75th St.: ramp closed on Thu., June 5, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair work.

JOHNSON COUNTY

Missouri Highway 131 between U.S. Highway 50 and Missouri Highway 58: flagging operation from Mon., June 2 until Thu., June 5, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair.

PETTIS COUNTY

Route B between U.S. Highway 65 and Missouri Highway 127: flagging operation from Mon., June 2 until Thu., June 5, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair.

Route J between Lone Grove Rd. and Farmers City Rd.: full closure on Mon., June 2, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for culvert replacement work.

RAY COUNTY

Route KK between Route D and end of state maintenance: flagging operation with pilot cars from Mon., June 2 until Thu., June 5, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair.

SALINE COUNTY

Route E between Missouri Highway 41 and Route H: flagging operation from Mon., June 2 until Tue., June 3, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair.

Route J between Pettis Co. line and end of state maintenance: flagging operation on Wed., June 4, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair.

Route AE between Route J and Cooper Co. line: flagging operation on Thu., June 5, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
