Kansas City area maintenance work for May 27-30

LEE’S SUMMIT, MO – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from May 27-30. No maintenance work is scheduled for the Memorial Day holiday on May 26. All work is weather permitting.

CLAY COUNTY

Route CC and Route C intersection: flagging operations on Tue., May 27, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair.

Route RA between Missouri Highway 92 and end of state maintenance: flagging operations on Wed., May 28, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair.

Route D: flagging operations for pavement repair.

  • Thu., May 29: Route D and Shepherd Rd. intersection
  • Fri., May 30: Route D and Raum St. intersection

JACKSON COUNTY

JOHNSON COUNTY

Missouri Highway 131 between U.S. Highway 50 and Missouri Highway 58: flagging operation on Thu., May 29, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair.

PETTIS COUNTY

Route B between U.S. Highway 65 and Missouri Highway 127: flagging operation from Tue., May 27 until Thu., May 29, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair.

SALINE COUNTY

Route E between Missouri Highway 41 and Route H: flagging operation from Tue., May 27, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair.

Route J between Pettis Co. line and end of state maintenance: flagging operation on Wed., May 28, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair.

Route AE between Route J and Cooper Co. line: flagging operation on Thu., May 29, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
