MoDOT to hold open house meeting for bridge projects in Grundy and Linn Counties

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Transportation will host a public meeting in Brookfield to discuss upcoming bridge deck replacement projects in Grundy and Linn counties. The project includes bridge deck replacements on the Grundy County Route E bridge over the Medicine Creek Drainage Ditch, the Linn County Route U bridge over Long Branch and the Linn County Route B bridge over Parsons Creek.

You are invited to attend a public open-house meeting to discuss the three bridge projects on Thursday, May 22, at the Brookfield High School (124 N Pershing Dr., Brookfield, MO 64628). Attendees are welcome to come any time between 3:30 and 5:30 p.m.

The meeting will allow the public to share their thoughts and concerns about the design for the bridge projects and to provide comments, either directly to the engineers or through a comment form. No formal presentation will be made.

If you are unable to attend the open house meeting, two other opportunities for public comment are available through Thursday, June 5, 2025.
