AID Demonstration Idea Solicitation
The Missouri State Transportation Innovation Council (MoSTIC) is soliciting ideas for Federal Fiscal Year 2019 Accelerated Innovation Deployment (AID) Demonstration projects. The MoSTIC has been tasked with selecting the project that will be chosen to move forward in Missouri. Attached is the Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) posted in 2016, unfortunately that funding has been expended, and we are waiting on the next round to be posted. The selected project will then be tasked with developing the full application for submittal (see attached for example from 2016). We are not asking for a full application submittal at this time. Submittal limited to one (1) page with a one (1) page attachment. Please provide the following items in your submittal:
- Estimated project schedule (at a minimum include NEPA, Design, and Construction start and end dates)
- Estimate of total cost, local agency match, and federal AID Demonstration funding request
- Every Day Counts innovation or other innovation to be used
- Brief project scope
Evaluation criteria:
1. Required (10 pts.)
a) Project eligible for use of federal funds
b) Project match provided and requesting no more than $1M in federal AID Demonstration funding
c) Project ready to authorize within 12 months
2. Is the innovation an Every Day Counts or another “ready” innovation? (10 pts.)
3. Is the project “needed” in the community? (10 pts.)
4. Is the innovation unique to Missouri? (10 pts.)
