Kansas City area maintenance work for April 21-25

LEE’S SUMMIT, MO – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from April 21 – April 25. All work is weather permitting.

CLAY COUNTY

Route CC at various locations between Missouri Highway 33 and Route C: flagging operation on Mon., April 21 and Tue., April 22, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair work.

Route E at various locations between Missouri Highway 92 and end of state maintenance: flagging operation on Thu., April 24, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair work.

CLAY & JACKSON COUNTY

Missouri Highway 9 northbound over the Missouri River (Heart of America bridge): right lane and shared-use path closed on Mon., April 21, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., for cleaning.

MO-9 southbound over the Missouri River (Heart of America bridge): two right lanes closed from Tue., April 22 until Fri., April 25, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for bridge sealing.

JACKSON COUNTY

Various bridges at various locations: intermittent lane closures throughout the week for bridge flushing operations.

Interstate 470 eastbound off-ramp to Blue Ridge Blvd: ramp closed on Wed., April 23 and Thu., April 24, from approximately 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily, for shoulder work.

Route BB at Reser St. in Buckner: flagging operation on Fri., April 25, from approximately 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., for drainage work.

JOHNSON COUNTY

Missouri Highway 58 at SW 601st Rd. South: flagging operation on Tue., April 22, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. for ditch work.

PETTIS COUNTY

Route HH between U.S. Highway 65 and Missouri Highway 135.: flagging operation from Mon., April 21 until Thu., April 24, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair.

SALINE COUNTY

Missouri Highway 240 between US-65 and Missouri Highway 41 South: flagging operation from Mon., April 21 until Thu., April 24, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair.

Missouri Route O between Route C and Route F: full closures from Mon., April 21 through Fri., April 25, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pipe replacement work.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
