St. Joseph, Mo. – The following is a list of general highway maintenance and construction work the Missouri Department of Transportation has planned in the Northwest Missouri region for the week of April 14-20.
There also may be moving operations throughout the region, in addition to the work mentioned below. Inclement weather may cause schedule changes in some of the planned work. Check the MoDOT Traveler Information Map at http://traveler.modot.org, or download the app for updated information.

Andrew County
Interstate 29 – Resurfacing from U.S. Route 59 north of the Nodaway River to Business 71 north of St. Joseph through July 2025. (Contractor: Herzog Contracting Corp.).
Route DD – Bridge rehabilitation at the Dillon Creek Bridge, April 14. The roadway will be narrowed to one lane with flaggers directing motorists through the work zone. (Contractor: Capital Paving & Construction, LLC). *2
Atchison County
U.S. Route 136 – Bridge maintenance at the Rock Creek Bridge, April 14-18. The bridge will be narrowed to one lane around-the-clock with a 12-foot width restriction and temporary traffic signals.
Route 46 – Pothole patching from the Nodaway County line to Route EE, April 17.
Buchanan County
Route 116 – Resurfacing from U.S. Route 59 near Rushville to U.S. Route 169 through April 2025. (Contractor: Herzog Contracting Corp.).

Route M – Bridge rehabilitation project at the Sugar Creek Bridge, April 14. The roadway will be narrowed to one lane with flaggers directing motorists through the work zone. (Contractor: Capital Paving & Construction, LLC). *2
Route H - Bridge rehabilitation project at the Wolfpen Creek Bridge, April 15. The roadway will be narrowed to one lane with flaggers directing motorists through the work zone. (Contractor: Capital Paving & Construction, LLC). *2

I-229 – CLOSED around the clock at the ramp from southbound I-229 to eastbound U.S. Route 36 for maintenance, April 14-16.
Caldwell County

Route D – CLOSED at the Mussel Fork Creek Bridge for a bridge replacement project through July 2025. (Capital-Horner & Shifrin).*1
Route E – Bridge maintenance at the Turkey Creek Bridge, April 14-18. The bridge will be narrowed to one lane around-the-clock, with a 12-foot width restriction.
Route ZZ – CLOSED for pothole patching from Morton Road to Westville Road, April 14-18, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
Route P – Bridge rehabilitation project at the Puzzle Creek Bridge, April 18. The roadway will be narrowed to one lane with flaggers directing motorists through the work zone. (Contractor: Capital Paving & Construction, LLC). *2

Linn County
U.S. Route 36 – Concrete replacement eastbound driving lane from Route F to Route 5, April 14-18.
Route ZZ – CLOSED for pothole patching from Route WW to Morton Road, April 14-18, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
Livingston County
Route D – Bridge rehabilitation project at the Old Channel Shoal Creek Bridge, April 16. The roadway will be narrowed to one lane with flaggers directing motorists through the work zone. (Contractor: Capital Paving & Construction, LLC). *2
Nodaway County
Route NN – CLOSED until further notice at the Platte River Bridge west of Parnell due to significant bridge deterioration. Route M – Bridge deck repair at the Long Branch Creek Bridge, April 14, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The bridge will be narrowed to one lane with temporary traffic signals.

Route 46 – Pothole patching from the Atchison County line to Route 113, April 17.
