JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The resurfacing project that began in summer 2024 on U.S. Route 54 in Callaway County is set to resume next week.
After the winter hiatus, construction crews working with the Missouri Department of Transportation will pick back up on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, and continue through the end of May. Work will take place between Callaway County Route H in Fulton, and Auxvasse Creek, north of Interstate 70, in Kingdom City. The hours of work will vary depending on the specific location:
- Night work, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.: County Road 220 to Auxvasse Creek (Kingdom City limits).
- Daytime work, 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.: Route H to County Road 220.
All work is weather dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
