Chariton County Route 11 bridge now open

Northwest Bridge Bundle project

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. –The Chariton County Missouri Route 11 bridge over Salt Creek, located south of Mendon, is now open following a bridge replacement project through the Northwest Bridge Bundle project. The Capital – Horner & Shifrin team, working with the Missouri Department of Transportation through a design-build contract, reopened the bridge today, Wednesday, March 19.

The Northwest Bridge Bundle is a Design-Build project which will replace or rehabilitate 31 poor-condition bridges in north central Missouri. The full list of bridges to be replaced can be found on the Northwest Bridge Bundle web page.
