Kansas City area maintenance work for March 17-21

LEE’S SUMMIT, MO – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from March 17-21. All work is weather permitting.

JACKSON COUNTY

Interstate 70 eastbound between Prospect Ave. and Chestnut Ave.: left lane closed from Mon., March 17 until Thu., March 20, from approximately 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. daily, for barrier wall repair.

Route FF between Route BB & Route H: flagging operation from Mon., March 17, through Fri., March 21, from approximately 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., for brush cutting.

Missouri Highway 150 just west of Missouri Highway 7: full closure from Tue., March 18 until Fri., March 21 for culvert replacement. Details: CLOSURE scheduled for MO 150 just west of MO 7, March 18-21 | Missouri Department of Transportation

JOHNSON COUNTY

Route AA between NW 200 Rd and NW 450 Rd.: flagging operation from Mon., March 17 until Fri., March 21, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for brush cutting.

Route O at SW 600 Rd.: flagging operation on Mon., March 17, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for ditch work.

Missouri Highway 13 between Route H and Lafayette County line: flagging operation on Tue., March 18, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pothole patching.

Route PP between MO-13 and SE 371 Rd.: flagging operation from Wed., March 19 until Fri., March 21, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for brush cutting.

PETTIS COUNTY

Route O: full closures at various locations for pipe replacement work, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day.

  • Mon., March 17: between Bugger Town Rd. and Ramey Rd.
  • Tue., March 18: between Lookout Rd. and Farmers City Rd.
  • Wed., March 19: between Route HH and Salem Rd.

PLATTE COUNTY

SALINE COUNTY

Missouri Highway 240 between U.S. Highway 65 and Missouri Highway 41 South: flagging operation from Mon., March 17 through Fri., March 21, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pothole patching.

Route K between 120th Rd. and McAllister Rd.: full closure on Mon., March 17 and Tue., March 18, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day, for pipe replacement work.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
