PLATTE COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be closing the right lane on Interstate 29 southbound over the Platte River Overflow for bridge repair work. Crews will also close the I-29 southbound on-ramp from Missouri Highway 273 at Tracy. The closures will begin at approximately 8 a.m. on Mon., March 17 and last approximately through Fri., March 21. All work is weather permitting.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
