St. Joseph, Mo. – The following is a list of general highway maintenance and construction work the Missouri Department of Transportation has planned in the Northwest Missouri region for the week of March 17-23.
There also may be moving operations throughout the region, in addition to the work mentioned below. Inclement weather may cause schedule changes in some of the planned work. Check the MoDOT Traveler Information Map at http://traveler.modot.org, or download the app for updated information.

Andrew County
Interstate 29 – Resurfacing from U.S. Route 59 north of the Nodaway River to Business 71 north of St. Joseph through July 2025. (Contractor: Herzog Contracting Corp.).
Route K – Bridge maintenance at the bridge over I-229, March 17-20.
Atchison County
Route D – Shoulder repair from 195th Street to Route A, March 17-21.
I-229 – Concrete repair southbound from 121 milemarker to 116 milemarker, March 17-21.
Buchanan County
Route 116 – Resurfacing from U.S. Route 59 near Rushville to U.S. Route 169 through September 2025. (Contractor: Herzog Contracting Corp.).

Caldwell County

Route J - CLOSED at the Bridge Creek Bridge for a bridge replacement project through May 2025. (Capital-Horner & Shifrin).*1
Chariton County
Route 11 – CLOSED at the Salt Creek Bridge for a bridge replacement project through March 2025. (Capital-Horner & Shifrin).*1
Route D – CLOSED at the Mussel Fork Creek Bridge for a bridge replacement project through July 2025. (Capital-Horner & Shifrin).*1
Route E – Bridge maintenance at the Turkey Creek Bridge, March 18-21.
Clinton County
Route 116 – Resurfacing from U.S. Route 59 near Rushville to U.S. Route 169 through September 2025. (Contractor: Herzog Contracting Corp.).
I-35 – Drainage work northbound from milemarker 32.6 to milemarker 33.6, March 19, 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The northbound driving lane will be closed, exit ramps will remain open.
U.S. Route 69 – Pavement repair from I-35 to Route 116, March 18-21.
Route PP – Drainage work at the bridge over I-35, March 20-21.
Holt County
I-29 – Resurfacing from U.S. Route 59 north of the Nodaway River to Business 71 north of St. Joseph through July 2025. (Contractor: Herzog Contracting Corp.).
I-29 (northbound) – Slide repair south of Route W near Corning through April (Contractor: C.P. Excavating, LLC).
Route C – Culvert replacement at County Road 140, March 18.
Linn County
Route HH – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from Route 129 to Marble Road, March 17-18, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily
Nodaway County
Route NN – CLOSED until further notice at the Platte River Bridge west of Parnell due to significant bridge deterioration.
