TRAFFIC ALERT: Lane closures on MO Route 1 in Clay County for resurfacing operations, March 10-31

CLAY COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting resurfacing operations on northbound and southbound Missouri Route 1 between Indiana Avenue to 72nd Street resulting in various lane closures beginning on Monday, March 10 until Monday, March 31 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
