REMINDER: MoDOT to host public meeting in Johnson Co., June 25

The meeting is in regards to intersection improvements on U.S. 50

REMINDER: JOHNSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will host a public meeting regarding intersection improvements on U.S. Highway 50 near Powell Gardens in Johnson County. The project is designed to improve the safety of the corridor and will include the construction of J-turns.

The meeting will take place from 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25 in the north meeting building at Elm Spring Baptist Church, located at 567 NW 1601st Rd. Kingsville, MO 64061.

Please note that this is an open house style meeting, and NO formal presentations will be made. Those interested can attend the meeting anytime between the advertised hours to ask questions, learn more about the project, and leave comments. There will also be an option to leave comments online beginning at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25 until 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9. The online commenting period will be available on the project page: U.S. Route 50 Intersection Improvements in Johnson | Missouri Department of Transportation (modot.org).
