MoDOT to close Route K over Brush Creek for geological evaluation

FRANKLIN COUNTY- Motorists who use Route K over Brush Creek in Franklin County should use alternate routes starting Monday, June 24 during the daytime weekly closures.

Crews will close Route K over Brush Creek by Haynes Memorial Drive from 7 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The closure dates are Monday, June 24 through Friday, June 28. Work will start again Monday, July 1 and is expected to be completed by Wednesday, July 3.

Geologists will be conducting soil and rock evaluation for potential future projects in the area.

Local traffic will be able to travel through the closure near Chapel Hill Road and Spanish Claims Road. Electronic message boards are displayed near the area for further details.
