MoDOT holds public meeting to share plans for Route 100 in city of St. Louis June 25

ST. LOUIS – Residents who use Route 100 in the city of St. Louis may want to attend an upcoming open house style public meeting to share their thoughts about proposed plans for the corridor.

The meeting is Tuesday, June 25, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Missouri Foundation for Health, 4254 Vista Avenue, St. Louis MO 63110.

In the city of St. Louis, Route 100 follows Chouteau between Interstate 55 and Vandeventer and follows Manchester between Vandeventer and the city limits.

The Missouri Department of Transportation will hold the open house-style public meeting to share plans for a project starting in 2025 that resurfaces the roadway between I-55 and the city limits and addresses some safety concerns along the corridor.  These concerns were gathered during two previous public meetings about this section of Route 100.

During the meeting, MoDOT engineers will share plans and will gather feedback for possible improvements to the final construction plans.

There will be no formal presentation. Participants may attend the meeting at any time between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.

People who require a reasonable accommodation to fully participate in this event, can contact Andrew Gates before Thursday, June 20  at Andrew.Gates@modot.mo.gov or call or text 314-223-8003.

For those who are unable to attend the meeting in person, the information shared during the meeting as well as a survey form will be available at Missouri Route 100 Pavement Resurfacing in St. Louis City | Missouri Department of Transportation (modot.org) before the meeting.  People are welcome to view the information and provide comments about the roadway until Tuesday, July 9.

This meeting will allow the public to view plans and provide comments, either directly to the engineers or through the survey, on those concerns.
