SIKESTON – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded contracts for the Southeast District during its regular meeting on March 6. Contracts included pavement improvements and bridge washing.
Contracts included the following:
- A $183,800 contract was awarded to AAD Contracting, Inc., for washing the bridge on Interstate 155 over the Mississippi River in Pemiscot County.
- A $3,009,744 contract was awarded to Apex Paving Co., for resurfacing Route 72 from Route 34 to the intersection of Routes 61 and 25 in Cape Girardeau County.
- A $422,114 contract was awarded to Fronabarger Concreters, Inc., for pavement reconstruction at the weigh station on Interstate 57 near Charleston, Missouri in Mississippi County.
