Commission Awards Contracts for Southeast District Projects
SIKESTON – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded contracts for the Southeast District during its regular meeting on Feb. 14. Contracts included pavement improvements, bridge replacements, and pavement marking improvements.
Contracts included the following:
- An $8,135,000 contract was awarded to Pace Construction Company, LLC for:
- Pavement resurfacing on Route 17 from Route 38 to Route 63 in Texas County, and;
- Pavement resurfacing and the addition of rumble stripes on Route 17 from Route AW to Route 38 in Texas County.
- A $3,853,285 contract was awarded to Missouri Petroleum Products Company, LLC, for scrub seals on the following routes:
- Route 34 from Route 67 to six miles west of Marble Hill, Missouri, in Bollinger County,
- Route 19 from Route 60 to Route 160 in Oregon and Shannon counties,
- Route 143 from Route 49 to Route 34 in Iron and Wayne counties,
- Route AA from Route 49 to the end of state maintenance in Reynolds and Wayne counties,
- Route NN from Route N to Route 221 in St. Francois County,
- Route C from Route D to Route 32 in St. Francois and Ste Genevieve counties,
- Route BB from Route M to Route 32 in St Francois County, and;
- Route F from Route OO to Route WW in St. Francois and Ste. Genevieve counties.
- A $1,099,217 contract was awarded to Mera Excavating, LLC, for a bridge replacement on Route 49 over Branch Creek in Iron County.
- A $2,065,468 contract was awarded to Apex Paving, Co., for pavement improvements on the following routes:
- Route EE from Route 25 to Route 77 in Cape Girardeau and Scott counties, and;
- Route M from Route K to Route 25 in Stoddard County.
- A $997,460 contract was awarded to Joe’s Bridge & Grading, Inc., for a bridge replacement on Route B over Ten Mile Creek in Carter County.
- A $913,134 contract was awarded to Gene Haile Excavating, Inc., for a bridge replacement on Route M over Harris Creek in Wright County.
- A $3,496,705 contract was awarded to Joe’s Bridge & Grading, Inc., for the following projects:
- A bridge replacement on Route Z over Drainage Ditch 1 in Scott County,
- A bridge superstructure replacement on Route P over Drainage Ditch 35 in Stoddard County,
- A bridge replacement on Route D over Byrd Creek in Cape Girardeau County, and;
- A bridge replacement on Route ZZ over Little Crooked Creek in Bollinger County.
- A $3,870,861 contract was awarded to Robertson Contractors, Inc., for bridge replacements on the following routes:
- Route D over Drainage Ditch No. 1 in New Madrid County,
- Route E over Otter Slough Drain Ditch in New Madrid County,
- Route D over Drainage Ditch No. 1 in New Madrid County, and;
- Route 75 over Wolf Hole Lateral Drainage Ditch in Mississippi County.
- A $1,368,093 contract was awarded to Apex Paving, Co., for pavement improvements on Route E from Route 61 to Route DD in Pemiscot County.
- A $1,326,204 contract was awarded to Missouri Petroleum Products Company, LLC, for scrub seals on the following routes:
- Route K from Route B to Route O in Perry County,
- Route A from Route 61 to the end of state maintenance in Perry County,
- Route C from Route A to Route 61 in Cape Girardeau and Perry counties, and;
- Route P from Route 61 to Route C in Perry County.
- An $898,806 contract was awarded to Missouri Petroleum Products Company, LLC, for scrub seals on the following routes:
- Route A from Route EE to Interstate 55 in Pemiscot County,
- Route 164 from Interstate 55 to Route D in Pemiscot County, and;
- Route T from Route 61 to the end of state maintenance in New Madrid and Pemiscot counties.
- A $2,193,615 contract was awarded to STF, LLC, for pavement marking improvements on Routes 60, 63, and 67 in various counties throughout the Southeast District.
