Buchanan County Route AC to close for bridge repairs

Riverside Road over U.S. Route 36

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Necessary bridge repairs will soon close Buchanan County Route AC (Riverside Road) over U.S. Route 36. Feb. 26 through March 1, crews from the Missouri Department of Transportation will replace several portions of the bridge deck with concrete patches and seal the bridge.

To safely complete the work, crews will close the Riverside Road bridge over U.S. Route 36 at approximately 7:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 26. It will remain closed around-the-clock through noon (was originally planned for 9 a.m.) on Friday, March 1. Motorists will need to seek an alternate route around the closure.  In addition, single-lane closures may be necessary during daytime hours on U.S. Route 36 under Riverside Road. All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
