SIKESTON – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded two contracts for pavement resurfacing in the Southeast District during its regular meeting on Dec. 6.
Contracts included the following:
- A $22,436,716 contract was awarded to Magruder Paving, LLC for pavement resurfacing on Interstate 55 from Exit 27 to Exit 49 in Pemiscot and New Madrid Counties.
- A $2,315,000 contract was awarded to Pace Construction Company for pavement resurfacing on Missouri Route 177 from Route J to the end of state maintenance in Cape Girardeau County. In addition, rumble stripes will be added from Ute Lane to Lexington Avenue in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Additional information, regarding timelines and impacts to traffic, will be released prior to the start of construction.
