PLATTE COUNTY- The Missouri Department of Transportation will close one lane on southbound I-29 and one lane on northbound I-29 at 72nd Street for a traffic shift. This lane closure will take place beginning at approximately 11 a.m. on Tues. Nov. 28 through 6 a.m. on Wed., Nov. 29. This will NOT be a complete closure.
This is not a complete closure. One lane will remain open in the southbound direction. All work is weather permitting. For more information about this project, visit the project webpage.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
