MoDOT holds public meeting to discuss Route 100 in city of St. Louis November 29

ST. LOUIS – Residents who use Route 100 in the city of St. Louis may want to attend an upcoming open house style public meeting to share their observations about the corridor.

Route 100 is Chouteau Ave from Broadway to Hemp and Manchester Avenue from Hemp to the city limits.

The meeting is Wednesday, November 29, from 5-7 p.m. at the Buder Recreation Center, 2900 Hickory Street, St. Louis MO, 63104.

The Missouri Department of Transportation will hold the open house-style public meeting to gather insight from the community to help develop improvements along the corridor that can help make the corridor safer while meeting the community’s goals for the future. It is a similar process to one started on Route D within the city of St. Louis earlier this year.

During the meeting, MoDOT engineers will seek information from the community about their concerns, desires and vision for the corridor.

There will be no formal presentation. Participants may attend the meeting at any time between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.

People who require a reasonable accommodation to fully participate in this event, can contact Andrew Gates before November 22 at Andrew.Gates@modot.mo.gov or call or text 314-223-8003.

For those who are unable to attend the meeting in person, the information shared during the meeting as well as a survey form will be available at Missouri Route 100 Pavement Resurfacing in St. Louis City | Missouri Department of Transportation (modot.org) before the meeting.  People are welcome to view the information and provide comments about the roadway until Wednesday, December 13.

This meeting will allow the public to share their thoughts and concerns about the corridor and to provide comments, either directly to the engineers or through the survey, on those concerns.
