NOW OPEN: Buchanan County Route Y bridge reopens

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – The north Buchanan County Route Y Bee Creek Bridge is now open. Phillips Hardy, Inc., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation were able to reopen the bridge, located between Old Frame Road and Missouri Route 116, this morning.

The south Bee Creek Bridge, located between Route 116 and the Buchanan/Platte County line, is being replaced with a box culvert. The culvert has been placed and is currently in its settlement period. It is scheduled to be reopened in mid-December.
