JACKSON COUNTY – MoDOT is in the process of replacing the Prospect Ave. bridge over Interstate 70. This work will require the following traffic changes beginning at approximately 10 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 20 through 5 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 22.

- I-70 EB and WB traffic will be diverted to the ramps around Prospect Ave. and lanes will be reduced to one lane in each direction.
As a reminder, the following work is still ongoing as part of construction on this project and will resume after the Oct. 20-22 traffic changes above.
Closures through Dec. 22
- The on and off ramps from Prospect Ave. to eastbound I-70 will be closed through Dec. 22
*Starting at Truman street, northbound Prospect Ave. traffic will be directed toward Paseo to access westbound I-70.
- The on and off ramps from Prospect Ave. to westbound I-70 will be closed ongoing through Dec. 22
*Starting at 12th street, southbound Prospect Ave. traffic will be directed toward Paseo to access westbound I-70.
