Callaway County Route J now open ahead of schedule

Miller's Creek Bridge was closed in June for a rehabilitation project

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo – Callaway County Route J is now open to all traffic at the Millers Creek Bridge following the completion of a bridge rehabilitation project. The Missouri Department of Transportation contracted with Gene Haile Excavating, Inc., to replace the deck of the Millers Creek Bridge, located approximately 7 miles south of Interstate 70, west of Fulton.

The contractor closed the bridge to all traffic on Monday, June 12. Originally scheduled to remain closed into September, crews were able to reopen the roadway ahead of schedule today, Friday, Aug. 25, 2023
