Clinton County Route NN bridge slated to close for replacement

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – The Clinton County Route NN bridge over Castile Creek, located a mile east of Route K, is scheduled to close on Monday, Aug. 14, for construction and is expected to remain closed through December 2023. Crews from Capital Paving & Construction, working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, will replace the 89-year-old bridge that was rated in poor condition following its most recent safety inspection.

As a part of the bridge replacement, it will be widened to two lanes. Motorists will need to use an alternate route during the closure.

All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
