The Castile Creek Bridge on Clinton County Route NN, located a mile east of Route K, is listed in poor condition and in need of replacement. The Missouri Department of Transportation plans to replace the bridge and widen it from one lane to two. The letting process is scheduled for December 2022.

The contract for the bridge rehabilitation is part of the December 2022 letting for contractor bids. The project was awarded to Lehman Construction, LLC.
Contractors may submit competitive bids during MoDOT's scheduled lettings. This project is scheduled to be a part of the December 2022 letting. The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission will consider all submitted bids at their scheduled monthly meeting in January 2023. If the lowest submitted bid meets all necessary criteria, the MHTC may award contracts at that time.
When the project is awarded the Notice to Proceed date - the earliest date on which the contractor could begin work - will be in February 2023.
The contractor will work with MoDOT to determine the exact schedule of work.
At this time, the roadway is expected to close during construction. The exact date of the road closure and the planned reopening date will be established after the contract is awarded.
