ST. LOUIS – Residents who use Route 231 between Franru Lane and the city of St. Louis limits may want to attend an open house style public meeting about the corridor.
The meeting is Thursday, July 27 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Hancock Place School District Central Office, 9417 S. Broadway, St. Louis MO 63125.
In this area, Route 231 follows Telegraph between Franru and Laredo, Kingston Drive between Laredo and Grant Road, and South Broadway between Grant Road and the city limits.
During the meeting, MoDOT engineers will share information about possible improvements along the corridor, based on previous discussions with the community and a select focus group. The department is looking to see what the community thinks about those options.
There will be no formal presentation. Participants may attend the meeting at any time Thursday, July 27 between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
For those who are unable to attend the meeting in person, the information shared during the meeting as well as a survey form will be available at Route 231 safety and resurfacing | Missouri Department of Transportation (modot.org) by the time of the meeting. People are welcome to view the information and provide comments about the roadway until Thursday, August 10.
This meeting will allow the public to share their thoughts and concerns about the corridor and to provide comments, either directly to the engineers or through the survey, on those concerns.
