JEFFERSON CITY, Mo – The closure of Callaway County Route J at the Millers Creek Bridge for a bridge rehabilitation project has been postponed. Originally scheduled to close this past Monday, June 12, the bridge is now scheduled to close on Monday, June 19.
The Missouri Department of Transportation contracted with Gene Haile Excavating, Inc., to replace the deck of the Millers Creek Bridge, located approximately 7 miles south of Interstate 70, west of Fulton.
During the closure, traffic will be directed over a signed detour on Route H, U.S. Route 54, and Route F. The roadway is expected to reopen in early September.
