Cooper County Route F to close next week

Stephens Branch bridge rehabilitation project begins Monday, June 5

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo – Cooper County Route F will close to all traffic beginning Monday, June 5. The Stephens Branch bridge, located near the town of Speed, between New Palestine Road and Speed Drive, was built in 1966 and the bridge deck is in poor condition.

Contractors working with the Missouri Department of Transportation will close Route F to all traffic on Monday, June 5. The contractor plans to reopen the roadway on or before Sept. 1, 2023. Motorists will need to use an alternate route during the closure.
