Resurfacing will require lane closures on portion of Missouri Route 45 April 18-Mid July

PLATTE COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will perform resurfacing on a portion of Missouri Route 45 requiring various lane closures between Moore’s Ferry Road and Missouri Route 273 beginning on Tuesday, April 18. Various lane closures are expected in the area until approximately mid-July between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily. Motorists should expect various lane closures and be prepared to stop as this project will require a flagging operation. There may be delays in the area. All work is weather permitting. Additional details about this project can be found here.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
