LAFAYETTE COUNTY –The Missouri Department of Transportation will be closing the eastbound and westbound Interstate 70 on and off ramps at Route T on Monday, March 13, beginning at 6 a.m. until mid-May. There will not be access to or from I-70 at this location during this time. This closure is a part of a bridge replacement located just east of Higginsville and west of Concordia at approximately mile marker 52. All work is weather permitting.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
