SIKESTON – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded contracts for Southeast District projects during its regular meeting on Feb. 8. Awarded contracts include resurfacing, pavement improvements, pavement markings, bridge repairs and replacements, and scrub seal projects.
Contracts include the following:
- A $16,705,000 contract was awarded to Pace Construction Company, for resurfacing the following routes:
- Route 32 from Interstate 55 to Gerard Street, Ste. Genevieve, Missouri in Ste. Genevieve County,
- Route 51 from near Interstate 55 in Perry County to Route 72 in Bollinger County,
- Route 32 from Route OO to Interstate 55 in St. Francois and Ste. Genevieve counties,
- Addition of a center turn lane on Route 32 at the intersection of Route 32 and Interstate 55 in Ste. Genevieve County,
- Route C from Route 51 to Route A in Perry County, and;
- Route D from Route Y to Route EE in St. Francois and Ste. Genevieve counties.
- A $1,134,786 contract was awarded to Joe’s Bridge & Grading, Inc., for a bridge rehabilitation on Route 67 over the Union Pacific Railroad and Koen Creek near Park Hills, Missouri in St. Francois County. The bridge is included in Gov. Mike Parson’s $351 million Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state.
- A $1,190,000 contract was awarded to Putz Construction, LLC, for erosion control repairs along various routes throughout the Southeast District.
- A $1,967,242 contract was awarded to H.R. Quadri Contractors, LLC, for grading and paving on various curves along Route K from Route 21 to Route 49 in Iron and Reynolds counties.
- A $1,178,852 contract was awarded to Joe’s Bridge & Grading, Inc., for bridge replacements. The bridges are included in Gov. Mike Parson’s $351 million Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state. The replacements include:
- Route 153 over Taylor Slough near Kennett, Missouri in Dunklin County, and;
- Route A over Drainage Ditch 72 near Bragg City, Missouri in Pemiscot County.
- A $561,149 contract was awarded to Missouri Petroleum Products Company, LLC, for scrub seals on the following routes:
- Route A from Route 60 to Route 49 in Carter and Wayne counties, and;
- Route 162 from Interstate 55 to Route M in New Madrid County.
- A $885,863 contract was awarded to Joe’s Bridge & Grading, Inc., for a bridge deck and substructure replacement on Route J over Ditch No. 12 in Dunklin County.
- A $114,535 contract was awarded to Strack Excavating, LLC, for bridge repairs on the Diversion Channel bridge on Route 25 in Cape Girardeau County.
