Lackland Rd. Bridge Over I-170 to Close Dec. 5

ST. LOUIS COUNTY - Motorists who travel the Lackland Rd. bridge over I-170 will need to use alternate routes as the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) will be closing the bridge beginning Monday, Dec. 5. The closure will last approximately seven months.

Contractors will be removing the old driving surface of the bridge and replacing it with a new one. New sidewalks and a barrier wall will also be placed on the bridge.

During the removal of the old driving surface, I-170 will be closed in both directions. This closure is schedule to take place starting at 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9 through 5 a.m. Monday, Dec. 12.  All work is weather, permitting.

The newly rehabilitated bridge on Midland Rd. over I-170 is scheduled to open on Saturday, Dec. 3. For further information on the Midland and Lackland bridge projects go to:
