What traffic impacts can drivers expect?

During construction, both bridges will be completely closed to traffic and drivers will have to use alternate routes.  Construction will start on Midland and then Lackland.  The duration of construction for each bridge will be approximately five to seven months.

During the demolition of each bridge, I-170 will be completely closed. Each demolition will take place over a weekend and I-170 traffic will be detoured to alternate routes.

In addition, construction will include lane closures on I-170.

What is the cost of this project?

This construction project is estimated at $5.5 million.
