Commission Awards Contracts for Southeast District Projects

SIKESTON – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded contracts for Southeast District projects during its regular meeting on Nov. 2. Awarded contracts include several resurfacing projects and a bridge rehabilitation project.

Contracts include the following:

• A $8,770,000 contract was awarded to Pace Construction Co., for pavement resurfacing on Route 53 from Business 67 to Route 25 in Butler County.
• A $1,955,000 contract was awarded to Pace Construction Co., for pavement resurfacing on Route 34 from County Road 808 to near Route B in Bollinger County.
• A $9,079,379 contract was awarded to Apex Paving Co., for resurfacing on Route 60 in the following locations:
• Pavement resurfacing from Route PP to Route V in Butler and Carter Counties,
• Pavement resurfacing from Route 51 to Route F in Stoddard County,
• Shoulder resurfacing from Route 60/67 to near Route 51, and on Business 60 from Route 60 to Route B near Poplar Bluff, Missouri in Butler County,
• Pavement resurfacing from Short Leaf Drive to Route W near Poplar Bluff, Missouri in Butler County, and;
• Pavement resurfacing from Township Line Road in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to the end of state maintenance in Butler County.
• A $1,544,000 contract was awarded to Pace Construction Co., for pavement resurfacing in Dunklin County on the following routes:
• Route M from Route 25 to Route 153,
• Route P from Route C to Route Y, and;
• Route 108 from the Arkansas State line to Route 412.
• A $3,917,032 contract was awarded to Apex Paving Co., for improvements in Scott County on the following routes:
• Resurfacing and adding shoulders on Route 77 from Route 25 to Route 61, and;
• Resurfacing Route Z from Route 61 to Route 114.
