Carroll County Route V now open after bridge replacement project

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – The Miami Station Branch Bridge, located on Carroll County Route V approximately 2.5 miles south of U.S. Route 24, is now open after a bridge replacement project. The Missouri Department of Transportation contracted with Gene Haile Excavating, Inc. to replace the bridge with a box culvert.

Crews closed Route V to all traffic at the bridge on May 16, 2022, and were able to reopen the roadway this afternoon, Tuesday, Sept. 6.
