Public Meeting Scheduled for Route M Project on Aug. 31

JEFFERSON COUNTY - The Missouri Department of Transportation will hold an open-house style public meeting for the Route M project from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31. The public meeting will be held at the Antonia Fire Protection District, 6633 Moss Hollow Rd., Barnhart, MO 63012.

Attendees can stop by at any time during the open house to view project details and speak with Route M project team members. A formal presentation is not scheduled.  Attendees will also have an opportunity to provide feedback on the project by completing a comment form while at the meeting or online at Missouri Route M  Survey (surveymonkey.com).

The purpose of this project is to improve safety of the traveling public along Route M, a four-lane divided highway, at the intersections of St. Lukes Church Rd. and Moss Hollow Rd. Proposed upgrades include constructing new J-turns and offset left turns, adding new lighting at J-turns and at intersections, and adding new signing and striping.
