MoSTIC and Technology Innovation and Deployment (TIDP) Funding Opportunity

The Missouri Statewide Innovation Council (MoSTIC) is requesting project applications for STIC funding.   Through the program, funding up to $100,000 per Federal fiscal year is made available to support or offset the costs of standardizing innovative practices.  Projects can ask for funding from any dollar amount.  However, $100,000 is the maximum amount given to the MoSTIC per Federal fiscal year and a minimum twenty percent matching funds are required for the amount requested.   The MoSTIC committee may combine up to two years of the STIC funding.  Visit the Previously Awarded STIC projects, Every Day Counts (EDC) and Innovations Challenge websites for project ideas.  Program guidance, application and time line can be found on the MoSTIC website

Applications for projects utilizing TIDP funds are also being requested.  TIDP is to fund research, development, technology and innovation transfer, as well as appropriate outreach and communications activities, and guided by but not restricted to the predetermined list of technologies from EDC and Strategic Highway Research Program(SHRP).  A minimum of twenty percent matching funds are required for any request.  However, for TIDP funds, Soft Match is acceptable.  See Program Guidance for definition of Soft Match.  Program guidance, application and time line can be found on the MoSTIC website

Submit applications for both funding opportunities by 5:00 pm Central, October 3rd, 2022 to MoDOTResearch@modot.mo.gov.  Questions may be submitted to MoDOTResearch@modot.mo.gov or by phone to Jen Harper, MoDOT Research Director at 573.526.3636  or Julie Stotlemeyer, FHWA Transportation Engineer at 573.638.2610.
