MoDOT to close WB I-70 at Taylor June 17-20

ST. LOUIS – Drivers heading out of the city of St. Louis on Interstate 70 the weekend of June 17-20 may want to consider alternate routes or allow extra time as the department closes the westbound interstate.

This is the second closure needed at westbound I-70 between Carrie and West Florissant Avenue to complete girder repairs to the Taylor Avenue bridge over the interstate, starting at 8 p.m. Friday, June 17, weather permitting.

The ramps from Adelaide and Carrie to westbound I-70 and the ramp from westbound I-70 to West Florissant Avenue will also be closed, starting at 7 p.m. June 17.

All lanes and ramps will be reopened to traffic by 5 a.m. Monday, June 20.

Detours for westbound I-70 and for southbound West Florissant Avenue will be marked.
