ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – The Miami Station Branch Bridge, located on Carroll County Route V approximately 2.5 miles south of U.S. Route 24, will close soon for a bridge replacement project. The Missouri Department of Transportation contracted with Gene Haile Excavating, Inc. to replace the bridge with a box culvert.
Crews plan to close Route V to all traffic at the bridge beginning Monday, May 16, 2022. The closure is scheduled to continue through mid-September 2022. During this time, motorists will need to use an alternate route.
All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
