Commission Awards Contracts for Southeast District Projects

SIKESTON – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded contracts for Southeast District projects during its regular meeting on April 6. Awarded contracts include on-ramp improvements, pavement improvements, bridge improvements and and on-call repair contracts.  

Contracts include the following:

  • A $550,999 contract was awarded to RL Persons Construction, Inc., for southbound and northbound on-ramp improvements on Interstate 55 at Exit 8 in Pemiscot County.
  • A $2,245,000 contract was awarded to Pace Construction Company for pavement improvements on Route N from Route 91 to Route 60 in Stoddard County.
  • A $395,800 contract was awarded to Penzel Construction Company, Inc., for replacing the bridge deck over Drainage Ditch 26 on Route WW in Stoddard County. The bridge is included in Gov. Mike Parson’s $351 million Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state.
  • A $604,500 contract was awarded to Putz Construction, LLC, for concrete repairs along various routes in the Southeast District.
